UCOOK was started in a garage in 2014 and grew into South Africa’s premier dinner kit brand. Katie was approached at an early stage of the business’s development by founders Chris Verster-Cohen and David Torr to come onboard and was intrinsic to the growth of the business.  Progressing to her role as Financial Director, Katie exited in 2020 before the share block successfully sold their share to Silvertree Internet Holdings at a R176 million valuation.
